Does this wine come with cheese

I have a 99 C230K and have noticed a wine from the front when I turn either left of right. The wine is stronger on the left. It sounds like a power steering pump issue but I have no warning lights indicating trouble. Is this common in the W202 or C230K?

Are you hearing the whine when it's locked all the way to one side? If so, then that's whats causing it, it's hitting the end of the turning radius and that's normal.

But if your hearing it while turning and not at the end, then it may be power steering issue, which usually doesn't give off any warning lights on the dash.

As I get to the end of the radius it starts to really get loud. Thanks...

That's usually a sign that the power steering fluid level is tool low. Check the fluid level and top it off if it needs it. If the level is reading normal, then there may be a problem w/ the pump.
