harman kardon traffic pro installed pics !
i hear this is the same nav units in the new land rovers. i just stuffed the antenna wire between the vents and trim and it fit behind the climate control without pinching it as you can see in the second photo
its not the neatest job but i dident want anything too permanent
the best part was it just plugged in ..no wiring harness required

ok ok lets calm down.
what steve did with my gps antenna was put it right inside my cluster area thing. so wat you ned to do is take wood piece off. and put the antenna anywhere inside there. and it works pretty good.
edit: btw can u give em copy of ur nav CD snce i gave u tip on where to put ur antenna :?

How does it sound?
Did you hook it up to the car's stock amplifier or did you wire the speakers to the head unit's amplifier?
Does the GPS work all over the US? I went to crutchfeld

I did not have the system with the amp so it just plugged in.. it sounds better than stock you can really hear a difference.
For those grading on neatness.. ill install it better once its not so cold outside this weather sucks..
I also gotta take out my old changer cuz its not compatable. But its too cold for that right now too. I have a friend that works at Harman auto division so I picked this up for 500$ brand new.
if i dident get such a deal i dunno if i would have bought it..
its all US but no canada
harman says they dont have canada.. but my friend is looking into whats compatable. as long as i get eastern canada im happy
