Locking Gas Cap...

Locking Gas Cap...
Does anybody know if they make a locking gas cap for our cars? I really don't feel like paying the $500 they quoted me to fix the actuator that locks the fuel door. Thanks.

ps I was going around with a brocken door for quite a while and nothing happened.. the most serious threat to your gas cap is full service gas station attendants not putting it back on....

from the outside, you can't tell if its locked or not, so no one would really know unless they went up to your car and tried to open the fuel door.
I'd see no reason for anyone to mess with your fuel door/gas tank (well perhaps people with nothing better to do ) but other than that, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
As for the locking gas cap itself, I've only seen these for older model cars...haven't seen ones that will fit MB's.
