receiver/dryer unit
Can anyone help? I noticed my air conditioner wasn't working as well as normal and I checked the sight glass on the receiver/dryer unit to see the fluid level etc. On looking, I found that the glass has cracked and the fluid is slowly bubbling out and vapourising away into the atmosphere! Has anyone ever know this to happen before? Compressor is fine - still turns OK and compresses fine. I am obviously not using the system until I replace the dryer and recharge - but weird? Any explanations?

I got a new receiver/drier and plan to install it sometime in the spring
