Sunroof Problem

Sunroof Problem
On the drivers side my sunroof sits a little high and does not sit against the front seal. This is causing a lot of wind noise.
I was wondering if any of you had experienced this or would know how to fix it.
BTW its a w202, 94 c280
thanks

i'm guessing it's the track or railing mounts...probably mis-aligned from over the years.
Next time you in service, ask them to take a look at it? If its not too bad, most likely they can just re-adjust the rails.

it sounds like G is correct about that. if the tolerance is such that it creates noise then you should have the rails checked out. for some reason those sunroofs on MB's can be a bit quirky and become misaligned?

Thanks. I noticed tonight at the very end when it closes one side closes first. It was taken apart and something changed in it about 4 months ago. I'll have the shop look at it when I take it in for an oil change towards the end of the week.
I can't believe how much wind noise it makes from having the little gap.

Is there a way to adjust the rails without taking it all apart. The reason I am asking is last time the sunroof was fixed I had to leave it two days. They told me it takes about 5 hours to take everything apart and get to the internals.
Thanks again

who the heck told you that?? most likely the dealership....i f?%#ing hate MB dealerships. i once had some jerk service "hustler" aka: advisor tell me that they had to dismantle my entire dash board to install a cupholder on my C230!!! i swear that is a true story. i literally told him he was out of his mind and fixed the problem right in front of him. this is par for the course.
