hood clearance issues
the wife's c220 was hit a couple weeks ago, we had it in to get repaired. I believe they removed the hood to repair the left front fender. in doing so, broke the windshield washer squirters, no biggie, but... when she drove the car home, she could see underneath the back of the hood. i am wondering is there supposed to be clearance above those plastic vent looking things at the base of the windshield, or are they flush?

yeah, that is totally normal actually. but, my 97 c230 had no clearance at all-but my 95 c280 there was a bit of a gap, and i actually took the time to look at other 94/95 cars to see that mine was normal. why? because i am the most **** human alive when it comes to my car.
