Locking problem
So I have a 1999 C43. My key locks and unlocks all doors throughout the summer. Once winter hits the car do not want to unlock/lock. My remotes are good, with new batteries installed tested at a local parts store. When I unlock/lock the car by inserting the key in on the driver side the car unlock/locks.
Sometimes my gas cap flap get stuck, so I open it with the red lever inside the trunk. Has anyone else had this issue and where do I start trying to fix it myself?
Thanks

You drive a 17 year old car and no doubt that in cold weather the pneumatic locking system can't over come the added resistance and cold moisture in the door panels and like you say goes away in warmer weather!!
Is the car garage kept??
