My 1997 C280, which I recently purchased has an annoying problem. Sometimes when I remove the key and open the door to exit a warning beep goes off. I have checked to see that I have the headlights off, parking brake on before opening the door. This beep turns off when I shut the door.

Any ideas?

 

I am having a similar issue, in my 95 c220. While driving, I get a very fait beep that just is continuous and doesnt stop. It only happens about 10% of the time.
I have no Ideas, does anyone else?

 

The only beep I ever heard while driving is when I forgot to release the foot brake.

Anything from that, nada. maybe you didn't release the foot break all the way that's why you hear a beep while driving.
