C220 engine rattle at idle

My C220 1996 has developed a rattle at idle which seems to be from the belt tensioner pully/damper assembly which seems to be a common problem on the 111 motor.

The noise is only present at idle with aircon on. If I apply pressure to the top of the damper the noise goes away. Do I need to replace just the damper or the tensioner pulley as well?

Yep thought so. Car only done 150 k kms so not sure what else to check for wear. Waterpump recently done.

Take the belt off and spin every pulley by hand and check for play. You dont want the belt tentioner failing. It makes a mess and can be catastrophic if not caught in time
