Tinted Windows
I have a 1997 C 280 and about 3 months ago i put tints on my windows. Now the tints look like shi..,. all skratched up i would replace it but if i put new ones on and same thing is going to happen. Does anybody have that problem or meaby somebody already solved it. Please help.

I am assuming that the tint that's scratching is on the inside of the window... well I guess this is kind of a GIVEN when tinting!
The guy that I have my windows tinted from does Mercedes tint ALL the time, and ever since 96 (or so) and newer, the inner window seals are made up of something harsh that scratches the tint, progressively getting more scratched with more window use. Back in 96 or so, many of his customers went back complaining of the scratching... a SHORT time later, he discovered that the door seal was causing the scratching.
His solution? He charged just a touch more, and began lining all Mercedes window seals with some felt or something similar, if I recall correctly... never did the windows scratch again.
Problem? The inner window seal is too harsch for the tint.
Solution? Find a place that specializes for tint in Mercedes... they should be familiar with the window seal issue, especially if they work with a lot of newer model Mercedes. And try and get (at least SOME) of your money back from the other place! I guess you can't blame them since I'm guessing they don't do Mercedes and wouldn't know this.
