Will 2012 17" Staggered from C-Class fit on my 99 c230

Just like the title says and I've been to 2 different tire shops all of them have said they won't fit my car is completely stock. I have some ****ty aftermarket wheels on that are bent and just bought these to replace them with, but I can't find any reason why they won't. They are from a 2012 Mercedes c- class I figured they would all be the same. Any straight answer would be wonderful and not just use the search function. Been there can't find any information about my current situation.

Sorry to say the wheels will not fit. The offsets changed when the W204 platform was introduced.

So the part the doesn't fit is the offset. You could get spacers and longer bolts to make it work. It is an added hassle and expense but it is an option.

I paid $100 for all 4 wheels so depending on how thick of a spacer I need to run and right size bolts. I will try and find the backspacing on them and figure out the spacers.

The 2012 are a 47 mm offset so I need to figure how much space I need to make up for it work.

So I'm wondering if a 10 mm spacer in front and a 15 or 20 mm would be adequate?
