I think a rough estimate would be roughly $250-350 for a used unit with a short (IE 60 days, etc) warranty. I think this is a relatively good way to go. I have heard, however, that the newer units (W202 C-class and newer) have been more trouble-free than the older CC units.
BTW, What is wrong with your Push-Button Control unit??

the display for the temp goes crazy. Also when turning on the heater or ac, when it wokrs, it would turn it self off after a couple of min. any ideas? what i was told was to replace the climate control unit.
