CEL codes driving me crazy '96 C280
1996 C280 It started with a dying Front O2 sensor. I replaced it. Then I got EGR valve codes. But after awhile these went away, and I got Rear O2 sensor, and P1444 evaporative canister related. So I got the rear O2 sensor replaced, and new purge valve for the canister. And now the P1444 is back. This is costing time and money. In the meanwhile, the engine runs great, idles perfectly, has great power (only 53k miles) and I have to look at that damned yellow CEL.
Please if anyone has any thoughts, I will seriously pursue them thanks

On your model it could be the purge system monitoring pressure sensor located the left wheelhouse.
The sensor monitors the pressure between the activated canister and purge control valve!!
