1999 C230 210 K Miles / Slight Rumble, Maintenance Suggestions?
My 99 c230 just hit 210k miles. It hasn't been to a repair shop except for tires and alignment since I got it at 90k miles. I've done everything else with the help of the forums.
I'll list my recent preventative repairs below, but curious if anyone knows what causes a slight rumble / over-run when turning off the ignition? Doesn't seem like it's doing any harm, but almost seems like maybe a timing issue, and I know the timing is electronic so not sure how to address the problem. I'm also looking for any suggestions on making the engine run quieter.. Maybe it's just heat shields and rusty outer layer of exhaust.
