What transmission do I have? Y3/8N2 replacement
The vin pulls up 722998 00 725472.
I did not want to assume, is this a 722.9?
Anyone changed the Y3/8N2 Internal Speed Sensor? Looks to be fairly easy, I know I should let MB do it, but I've been milking a balance shaft for about 2 years and wanted to drive it till the motor failed, for $150 it looks like I can fix the trans.
Thanks!
Lee

Hello dear Lee,
I'm in the same case, I'm thinking to change the y3/8n1 and n2 ( that damned speed sensors )and i don't know if I'll need a new update of the software u know that thing which is called coding, what have u done with ur gearbox, mine is still mounted in the car with limp mode... it makes me so crazy,
thank you so .
