common A/C problem 1998
My 98 C230 A/C doesn't cool very well. It worked fine last Summer, but we had a hot spell here in LA last month and the A/C only blew coolish.
Are there common failures for this era Benz or do I just need a recharge?

I know that earlier w202's had problems with the heat in the winter time and that was a service bulletin I think. But I haven't heard of much A/C problems with the w202. Maybe you need a recharge...but so soon? My c220 has never been recharged b4 in the 10 years that we've had it :p

My '99 C280 is like that too. My mechanic says I just need to recharge it. Then again, I just recharged it last year. Leak possibly? I'll have to charge it up and find out this weekend.
