headlight condensation
ok, my headlight has been cracked for a while now (rock on the pike :rolleye
and when it was first hit, it was just a small "spider web" crack. Then overtime, it cracked in a line upwards. Been like that for months now.this past week, we had a few days of heavy heavy rain and I just noticed that there is condensation inside the lens and droplets of water. I see there's a "pin-sized head" hole there where the rock hit now and i'm guessing is where the water is entering or air is getting into.
is this "dangerous" at all for the condensation to be there? I'm not due for another oil change for about 3k miles and asked my SA about replacing the lens before...$130 for the lens (not too bad). Do I have to immediately replace it or can it wait?
Thanks!
he told me the worst that would happen is the bulb would blow, that's it.
I think i'm going to wait a lil bit...
