97 c230 idles rough and shakes, drives but missing and loose of power

most common problem is an air leak where it's not supposed to be.

most commonly recommended approach is to get the codes read, interpret what they mean (and what they suggest is wrong).

second most common recommended approach is to get a smoke test to find the vacuum leak.

rough idle may also originate with bad engine mounts.... DAMHIK.
