Offsets
So I bought some AMG reps, and was wondering if anyone has similar sizes on their W202 and they could share their spacer sizes.
I actually think they fit, very tight... I have photos and I'll upload when I get back from dinner.. but for now
I bought 18x8.5 et 35 225/40/18 and
18x9.5 et35 265/35/18
on the original rims, I have just tad over 1/2" of lug bolt sticking out the rear of the tire, but on the new wheel, I have just tad under 1 1/4" bolt sticking out.
I'll post pictures in a couple of hours of the measurements I took.

It's not about how much bolt sticks out - that is simply what happens depending on how thick the wheel centers are.
Really, if you already have the wheels, mount a pair if you can, and then lower the car. You'll know before it hits the ground, whether you'll have clearance or not.

rear fitment 18x9.5 265/35 (factory suspension - also off the ground on jack)
front fitment 18x8.5 225/40 (factory suspension - also off the ground on jack)
front clearance without spacer (et35) 18x8.5 225/40 (factory suspension - also off the ground on jack)
another of the front clearance without spacer. (et35) 18x8.5 225/40 (factory suspension - also off the ground on jack)
rear clearance without spacer (et35) 18x9.5 265/35 (factory suspension - also off the ground on jack)

after fitting the wheels with tires and reviewing the fitting chart from alloywheelsdirect, i think im going to fit 10mm spacers on the front and rear, although they actually fit as is. just seems a bit tight for me. what do you guys think?
