tire pressure and oversteer/understeer
I got a new set of Toyo Proxes 4. They grip very nicely, but with the front tire pressure at 28 psi, they seem a little cushy. I want to sharpen the turn-in a bit, so I am going to up the pressure. The car also feels like it is understeering a bit more than it had with other tires (Michelin XGT H4). Any recommendations on overall tire pressures (front and back) to not only sharpen turn-in, but also to reduce understeer. Rears are set to factory recommended 32 psi.
Thanks,
Mike

I use 33 psi front/rear and have good turn in with minimal understeer with a staggered tire setup.
If you are using a staggered tire setup that will cause more understeer.

It almost seems at 28psi that I am getting some rolling of the tires during hard corners. Does that seem likely at 28psi, or is something else going on?
Thanks,
Mike

28 front/32 rear seemed to work ok for the mooshy contis... ever since I got rid of them for some descent and wider dunlops I run 32-33 psi all round with pretty good performance and traction, especially for high speed highway turns...
