Slow Throttle Response

Hello Everyone !

I have a W 202 Mercedes C 180 1998 petrol manual transmission with electronic throttle , the problem is when i slowly put my foot on the gas pedal to accelerate the rpms don't rise , i have to press it a little bit more to make the car move , it's a little tricky because the rpms rise too fast and it's a little difficult to control it when i want to move the car a little to park . What you think might be the problem ?

Sounds like a faulty Throttle Position Sensor. Sometimes called a Pedal Value Sensor. Lots of info all over the web about it.
