This is a question about hooking up an external player (like an iPod) to the existing stock radio.
I know this has been covered in various threads, but I have a option that I have not seen discussed and wonder if anyone has tried.
Can I take the existing wiring for the CD changer in the trunk, modify it by an adapter or actually clipping it and playing with the individual wires to convert it to something that will plug into the iPod (or similar) headphone jack? Then can I run that wire back up to the front of the car somehow?
