Lower line on Compressor

Lower line on Compressor
I took my car to get the A?C checked out this weekend. The shop did a dye test and found that I had a leak in the lower line on the compressor, what is the exact name of this part? Is there one? I have a 97 C280 sport. Really need to get the a/c working. Especially before the warm weather hits. Thanks for any and all assistance on this, i appreciate it.

a/c compressor leak
What a coincidence. I was just going to post to see if there are common places that the a/c systems leak on vehicles in the same production era. My 97 C230 a/c is down. The compressor turns but does not cool more than a tiny bit. It worked last summer. I have about 90,000 miles on my car and the warranty is over. I feel very strongly that if this problem is very common (and I think that it is) Mercedes ought to repair the things for free.
