I have a '99 C230 that can't pass inspection because of the SRS light. I found a local guy with a Star diagnostic system, and the fault code indicated my driver side (left) seat belt switch. I looked under the seat to find that a harness with 4 wires was shredded, and (2) two-prong connectors had nothing going into them. In the loose 'shredded' wires, there are 2 browns, which I believe are ground wires. Then there is a brown one with a red stripe, and a green one. On the two connectors, the black connector has a brown and a green wire and the other clip is red (I think this is the switch sensor),.this set
has a yellow wire and a blue wire, and this Does anyone know which two wires are supposed to match to the clips? See attached pictures if anyone can help!
