brake and suspension mods

I have always been more interested in the braking and handling characteristics of high performance cars than speed. This is why I drive a 98 C230 (no Kompressor).

If I want to significantly improve the stopping power of the car, what are my options and at what cost?

What suggestions would the group members also give to improve the cornering power? The car is stock. I have considered tire and wheel replacement, but wonder if I will get more g force for my money by doing suspension mods.

By the way, the best cornering sedan that I have driven was my 92 190E Sportline.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
stopping... big brake kit... brembo or stoptech are very nice.depending on which size you decide to go with and how many pistons.. price varies, but for top of the line figure almost 4k for just the fronts. but if you do it, you need bigger wheels, cause the calipers will not clear the wheels.

handling... you need to do both new wheels & tires, and suspension work to really do it right. tires find z rated low profiles, suspension...springs, shocks, coilovers. there are also swaybars. there are so many options.
