w202 C180 automatic transmission problem skips the first gear
Hello guys,
i have a problem with my Mercedes C180 w202 1993. Problem is with my automatic transmission. Skip a first gear, start in second. I changed the fluid and the filter in the transmission, and same problem wont go into first gear, same in E and S mode. I do not know why this is happening, it worked well before, from first to fourth gear. I forgot to mention that the gearbox is 722.4. Can someone help me with my problem?

Bad conductor plate or solenoid in the plate? C180 is not a model sold in USA. As above, a specialist should be able to diagnose relatively quickly. What you do afterwards is up to you, but if either of the mentioned items, could run about $1000.
Edit: I thought these transmission are supposed to start in second gear unless manually shifted to first....?
