Antenna Mast
Howdy,
I'm sort of a newbie, with a 97 Desert Silver c230 w/ 110,xxx miles on it (no mods).
I am in search of a new antenna mast. It has been broken for about 2 years by a little girl tying a flag on it (broke off black plastic, doesn't go all the way down) . Anyways, retail on other websites is $60. On ebay, they have one for my model for $15. I am aware of buyer beware. So my question, has anyone ever bought an antenna mast off ebay? If so, was it ok?

Well, I bought the antenna, but the metal base was about 2 mm thicker than original. Simply file it down, and it should be no problem. Saved about $35 bucks compared to Hirschmman mast.
