144,000 could it be balance shaft?

2007 C-280
144,000 could it be balance shaft?
So I am looking at a C280 with 144,000 that has the following codes.
2190 too rich, figure O2 sensor
2188 too rich
0025 exhaust B camshaft position timing over-retardedbank 2
0022 intake A camshaft position timing over-retarded bank 2
engine number 272.940
so camshaft position makes me think its the balance shaft. Its in the right series for that. However, everything I have read says it should have happened long before this to be that issue. What do you guys think?
