1999 C230 - Cooling system issue

Hey MBWorld,

So I bought an 99 c230 compressor (W202) a couple years ago, haven't had too much time to work on it. Everytime I do work on and think I have it fixed I keep running into the same issue.

My coolant recovery tank keeps spitting coolant out the overflow!

I'm gonna change the recovery tank this week along with the coolant sensor but it's the strangest thing and was wondering if anyone has came across this issue. It doesn't happen right away but once I drive for a bit and the engine heats up the little overflow tube just starts spitting out coolant. Soemtimes happens when i punch the gas ans the RPM is high. Also sometimes my engine will overheat when I drive at high speeds so I'm just hoping it's not a head gasket but that's what I'm starting to think the issue is.

**Also the rad fans don't seem to want to kick on most the time. They have maybe 2 or 3 times since I got the car.

Please help me figure this out if you have an idea on what the issue may be.

Thanks

C230 Kompressor (W202)
Update, the pressure is really high in my reservoir directly after starting the car. The pressure seems to be stopping near the thermostat which I just changed...the tube going to the thermostat becomes very hard and stays that way until I release the pressure from the reservoir...
