Tranmission solenoids
I am looking at the solenoids for the 772 trans (1998 C230), and in the group of 6 units, they appear to have 3 different looking solenoids.
I changed my trans fluid about 1000 miles ago, and installed a new conductor plate (not needed, but just did it for maintenance)
The shifts are not working that well in around town driving. Stays too long on 1st and 2nd, and drops from 3rd to 2nd to quickly.
I am wondering is this can be related to the solenoids being installed incorrectly?
I have tried to do a reset, but no difference. I drive like a little old lady, so I am just looking for quicker gear changes.
Any comments

Find some one who has access to XDOS have him hookup and while in road test mode ------------what does the transmission gear diagnostics tell you----- you can also use weekend ***** approach with the FUYA approach-what does that indicate

No Mercedes sales or service where I am. Closest is a 4 hour drive. No one locally has any Mercedes training, or a Star diagnostic unit. What does FUYA stand for? I have never heard that abbreviation?
