2000 Mercedes C230 Kompressor
2000 C230 Brake Light Failure
Bought the Kompressor as a project car. The Middle and Right brake lights were functioning when I bought it. The Left brake light had a contact issue, would turn on and off depending on if I hit bumps in the road. Tried cleaning and even reshaping the contact. It worked!--- for all of a few minutes and now All 3 brake lights fail to work. Replaced Brake Lamp Switch and both Left and Right Tail Light Circuit Assembly. Replaced bulbs. Still no Brake Lights.. All other lights work: Parking, Blinkers, Reverse... Ect.
Note: The dash indicator for faulty lights used to turn on when the Left BL would go out. But now the indicator is off as if eveything is ok. No check engine lights or other warnings either.
Any help with diagnosis?
