Merc steering wheel lock problem

In January 2018 my MB didnt want to start. The battery was ok, but steering wheel was locked and had a stiff brake. The problem turned out to be a broken steering wheel lock and after replacement, the car started again.

Yesterday when I wanted to start the car, the same symptoms appeared. Not even a click when I want to start the car, stiff brake and steering wheel locked. It seems that its the same problem, but is there possibly something else it might be ? Maybe a fuse or other smaller problems which can also make the car unable to start ?
