I've noticed a small plastic bit while replacing my shocks. I've added a picture. I just wanted to know what it is and whether it's important. I didn't see it in my repair manual.

The car was lowered by the previous owner so I'm not surprised to find this bit broken.

Edit: It's my sway bar link. Looks like I'm getting new ones.

If it's been lowered, has the rear chamfer been corrected? ( I highly doubt it, you will want to check this )

The broken rear swaybar link - is it an oem part or do you know if its generic?

 

I'm not familiar with lowering so forgive me, the wheels sit 90 degrees from the ground. I've never heard anything about camber from the shop, I've had one alignment.

I assume these are original or at least very old as the bolts are fused to the bushings and I'm currently looking into removing them (I've snapped off both nuts and the punch/hammer combo isn't doing my any good).
