New C230K
Anyway. I just acquired a w202 C230K Sport. It’s been sitting with a bad ignition coil for maybe 2 years. Other than that and the normal rust it seems fine. After I replace the coil and do a bit of maintenance, is there anything I should watch out for? Anything I should look at and make sure is OK?
Also, any upgrade recommendations for handling and power train I should save for the future? It needs shocks and springs, any recommendations? Good wheel and tire combos?
For power, I have the ASP harmonic dampener, Bigger injectors, ported intake manifold, cleaner/ bigger brittle body, new Intercooler, sprint booster. Are there any others I should add? How would I go about tuning it once everything’s on there. Any program recommendations?
Engine swap recommendations? M104 or m113 swap?what would be involved in that. Ignition systems, ECU, motor.
How much power can the tranny hold?
Sorry for for all the questions, just excited for a new modding platform.

You're asking alot of Qs from the get-go. If you have $$ to burn from the get-go then may I suggest, start with the basics first and work your way up to the more elaborate upgrades and mods. The amount of $$$ you wish to put into this 15+ year old w202 (based on your wish list) is more than what it's worth, imho.
But hey, it's your $$$.
(1) Ignition coils, SP wires, plugs,
(2) Lubrication - oil / transmission oil, filters (including gas)
(3) check and clean the MAF
(4) check and replace the Oil separator cleanup/ replacement or bypass
(5) vacuum lines
(6) brake bleed and pads / check rotors
(7) SC oil change
(8) give it some love - seafoam
After you've done the basics, use the search feature (top right corner) for w202 upgrades etc, as well as search thru the R170 forum (as they use the same SC) for SC upgrades, discussions.
This should keep you busy.

Thanks man that all makes sense. And you’re right about the $$$. I didn’t think about that I was excited lol. Makes sense though.
