Lowered this weekend

I'm thinking about H&R too but it looks like it can be lowered some more. How much did it lower?

It can be
It can be lowered more- cut the H&R springs down about a 1/4 coil and use thinner shim pads. As for how much it lowers, the H&R kit for the W202 lowers it 1.4 front, 1.4 back. -Sholly

yes yes, I'm wrong
I know that it is a very bad idea to cut the springs- I personally wouldnt do it, but I've seen a 202 (I believe someone who posts on BenzWorld) with a 1/4 cut with no problems. Shim pads is definitely the best way to go- have to agree with my superiors aho and doug here.

Handling is much better - lower center of gravity means I can take turns faster
I haven't really noticed a decrease in the ride quality - I still have the stock shocks, so that probably helps. I'll prob get Bilsteins soon.
And yes, unfortunately, I'm still on stock rims - but what can I say, I'm broke haha
BTW sholly, you're right on - I measured the drop up front and it was about 1.5" That's still leaves a pretty big gap, but hopefully bigger rims will fill that up one day
peace

what about amg or brabus, and what is meant by preference, what are the difference between amg brabus and the rest, are they worth the extra cash for the best ones?

H&R
If you're having indecison, go with H&R, especially if you're keeping stock shocks. I've ridden in a C-Class with H&R, Eibach, and AMG springs, and the difference is not very noticeable. H&R were in my old car with stock shocks and still rode well.
