Question Help with 1995 C36 Front Rotors???

I posted this in the AMG forum but thought someone in here might have an idea.

I'm trying to replace rotors on my 1995 C36. The price on them from MB is $200.00 Each!! Talk about sticker shock! I hear the brakes were lifted off of the 1995 SL600? Is this true?? Can I just order the SL600 part numbers? Those only cost $75.00 a rotor. That's not too bad.

Has anyone here done it and can you post part numbers I need?? Thanks!

I had a 95 C36 and found that brake parts are pretty expensive, especially compared to non-AMG models. I had heard too that the brakes were "lifted" from other models, but those parts don't seem interchangeable. I had to bite the bullet and buy the AMG specific parts. Imagine my surprise when my first brake job on the C230 found $40 rotors!

It's just that in annother thread someone posted that the SL600 rotor would work. I just want to hear it agian. I would hate to order the part and it wouldn't fit.
