Manual?
Do you mean manual Transmission?
I don't know exactly, but most of the w202 was manual Transmission.
Automatic was pretty rare at that time.
There were made over 1,8 million W202, I should believe that maybe 1,2 million was manual and 600.000 automatic (but I don't know)

Europeans liked manual transmissions a lot. In France even now, over 90% of cars have manual transmissions

Also here in Sweden manuell-transmission are a bit more common, about 60%.
And almost 40% of alls cars in sweden are Diesel.
Most common cars in sweden are volvo and volkswagen.
In the US it looks at bit different.
