Remote starters
My stepdad is looking to buy a 2000 C230K and the decision hinges on whether he can install a remote starter on the car. The guy at the dealership (subaru dealer with a trade in C230K) said because of the infared key, a remote starter could not be installed. Is this true? Has anyone here installed one on their infared-keyed MB? If so, which brand?

He needs to know soon, in order to secure the car for purchase...so any help would be greatly appreciated...
