I'm trying to drain the oil but i was unable to locate the jack point in the front underside of the car. is there some other way to lift my car up so i can access the drain bolt?

The jacking "points" for floor jacks and jack stands, are right beneath the tubes, padded with thick round rubber pieces. The problem, you see, is that the spot where you want to put the jack is also the spot you need to put the jack stands. A solution coud be to use the front engine cross-member to lift the car prior to securing it with jack stands.
However, all that said, the oil drain plug is easily accessible without lifting the car, unless it's been lowered.

well personally i dont like the top slider as i would not know if i got everything out. i know scorchie here will have a mouthful to say to me, but by unbolting the drain, at least i know i got everything out. i've tried the top slider and i just plain dont like it. sometimes i dont even know if the hose is fully inside the oil pan. the jack points on the car should be under the side skirts on both sides.

That's why you put new oil in, it dilutes the old stuff that's left behind.
Also, why are you so worried about getting the old oil out? It was in your engine for 3000 miles before, is it there something that makes it unbearable to be in your engine once it hits 3000? And this is how you show your respect? I hope J knows that when she hits 3000, she's outta there.

The only ramps to go with for low profile bodies are Rhino Ramps. Get them at any decent auto parts store. The have a long, gradual, wide incline and work perfectly on both my 04.5 SS Sedan and the wife's Cooper.
