Check Engine Light at 100K miles?
I did a search on this forum and didn't come up with anything so I thought I'd post the question.
Does the 'Check Engine' light come on automatically at 100K miles? Do the people here that have over 100K miles on their W202s have had that light come at that mileage?
Also, what are the usual/recommended maintenance features that should be done to the car at 100K miles? Thanks...

You can start by doing the 90K service... Goto Autozone and have your car hooked to a OBDII reader and see what the code is... probally O2 sensor.

Probably cause is
...the O2 sensors.
I'd have the car scanned to see what codes are present. The OBD-II cars that use heated O2 sensors have a service life of 100K miles for the sensor.
If the heater element dies, or the sensor response gets too sluggish it will make the CEL turn on.
On the 4 cyl engines, there is a pre- and post cat sensor.
