1996 C220 OBDII Fault Code Meaning ?

Hi All,
My check engine light has come on. I pulled the fault code(DTC) with the scan tool and the following is what I get. Want to check with you guys and see what you interpret the problem to be...

P1137 Mod$64 1/1?
Manufacturer Control
Fuel Air Metering

Thanks,
Steve

Does your car have any driveability issues? Erratic idle, poor performance, bad gas mileage? If not, it may be the "diagnostic probe" o2 sensor. Mine is bad, and it lit the check engine light. Fuel air metering can be either the o2 sensors or the MAS sensor. You need to take it to a shop that has a Mercedes scantool to further identify the problem. If it is the diagnostic probe, my mechanic said this is just a backup o2 sensor that has failed. I'm living with a check engine light on now, rather than paying $275 for just the part. Hope this helps.

Be careful about running with a fuel trim malfunction. A rich running condition (past adaptablity) can ruin your catalytic converter. Get the adaptations read and get a proper diagnosis before deciding what to do, if possible.
