1999 c230 speaker size

I just changed all my speakers on my 1998 c230 nonbose. Its a pain in the ***...because aftermarket speakers are not a direct fit. I had 6.5 inch put in the front doors and 5.25 inch fit in the rear doors and the ones in the rear deck....i just took out because i added a subwoofer. Check this site out...it shows how u can add 6.5 inch to the front doors. Just make sure to buy speakers with a depth of 2 inches or less. For the 5.25 inch in the rear doors...you need to buy a toyota t-100 adapter plate from metra....or in my opinion...the same way that the instructions show you how to put in 6.5 inch in front...they should be the same for the rear.

are there any speakers one can buy and drop into the w202 with the bose system? I have a '99 c230k and have to imagine that someone would make speakers for this ride...the body style has been around for a while...
