"bore" out... is the enlarge the internals of the motor... expensive, but how true motor tuning is done. i.e. 280 to c36. it can be done by any performance automotive shop... but be careful who you go to, it is a delicate procedure that must be done right.

"maf", is mass airflow sensor... so technically it should be called mas.

google.

asr helps control acceleration slippage... kind of like traction control.

esp, electronic stability program.

Sholly, Im good man...

Ashkan, dont even bother with bosch or hella... they have nothing to offer unless youre looking for spark plugs (not the best, good but not the best), or fogs.

I know that this isn't the answer to your question, but you most likely don't have ASR, as ASR was a pay option in the 97's and not too many C280's in So. Cal. had them. ESP wasn't even out at that time for the C Class, so it shouldn't be too much of a biggie.

In terms of the MAS, one thing you'll need to know for that is that some people's MAS have had problems or trouble when installing a K&N airfilter... And, there's a few more issues with that as well.

ahhh hks...hes giving you everything for that price? turbo, header and downpipe?

ask him how long hes used it for...mileage and time.
ask for wastegate setting, boost level used.
ask for power increases...if he dynoed... at wheels or crank.
why selling.

let me know man... but the price seems VERY good.

ps, dont bother w/ club202...

so where would I go to get it added? stealership? what else can be added that was a later option, so to confirm ASR and ESp can be added? just curious how far someone could take their 202

No, I didn't say any of that. I don't think ESP can be add nor do I think ASR can be either. I think it would just be a complete waste of money to even attempt to do either... There are a lot of components involved in both systems, and the way they "talk" to each other. I would say that you can't do it.

does cleaning the K&N often really help, and how soon would it **** up the air flow thing mas or whatever, is there anyway to prevent it, I know more air more dirt less space but come on, come on

basically, everything in your last post was wrong. cleaning the filter is good... if just removing dirt... but do not regularly re-oil... thats what so bad.

how fast can it f--- up mas? sometimes within a couple hundred miles... sometimes months.

prevention...yes, just by a true cold air intake... with proper filter, not overly oiled, and proper bend angle. bend angle is extremely important.

and more air does not equal more dirt. more air means mas readings to high.
