Engine won't turn off
Hi,
Hope you can help me.
The other day when I turned off my engine, and took out the key, the engine kept running on my w202 gasoline.
I have tried to replace the bottom of my ignition cylinder, and the OVP relay. I have also checked every single fuse.
The only way to shut off the engine, is by removing the fuse in the middle of the OVP relay.
What I have noticed is that the battery symbol in the cluster stays on, when I turn on the ignition, but I can't remember if that is normal.
However, it does charge with around 14V.
Also, earlier that day, I had to replace the fuse on the OVP relay as the car earlier that day wouldn't start. So I thought OVP was the problem. But I guess not.
I was also told to check if I have a vacuum hose to my ignition, but I do not have that, as that apparently could be a problem as well.
Do you have any idea what I could check next?
Hope you can help me.
