Question A question for those of you with AMG wheels on the W202

I've done many tire changes/wheel swaps etc. and am stumped by this. I recently mounted some AMGs (used) and while they're in great shape, I assume
they're balanced. Is this a wrong assumption? The bolt pattern and all mounted
up without incident. Is there anything I missed when mounting (i.e. anything
needed to properly mount on the front hub - inner rings etc.). The problem I
have is vibration about 50mph. Tire psi is correct and adjusted....... I'm thinking
I should simply go have all 4 computer balanced.

Just got back with all four computer balanced and while it's better, it still feels
like there's a vibration. I had the same thing happen some time back and the
tires were at fault. I think I'll invest in a four wheel alignment and live with
whatever vibrations exists after that point (I'll get new tires eventually).

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
since you say the vibration is only after 50 mph it is most likely a bad balancing job.

That's what I was afraid of. Well it will have to be this way for a bit. Tires
gonna run about $800.

Looks like you need a Road force Wheel Balancer

My dealer uses this on all my Benzes and Porsche. No vibrations

Thanks for the suggestion. That will be a lot cheaper than spending $$ for
more tires. I'll give that a shot.

Also AMG wheels (monoblock IIs) are notorious for going out of round after many miles.
