hi! I’m a new owner of a maroon 1999 c230 kompressor, and it has so many problems😭

i can barely drive it because the seat does not move up or down, and the headrest doesn’t move either.

i don’t even hear a motor when i hit the switch.

all other power seat functions work really well and smoothly, even the front of the seat moves up and down. just not the entire seat.

could it really be the relay? how can the relay make some seat functions work, and not others?

sorry if this is a repetitive question.. i used advanced search but couldn’t find a problem exactly like mine..

Late update for anyone who needs this thread in the future. It was the switch assembly that was the issue. I attempted to clean it with electrical spray only to get shocked, lol. Replaced with a junkyard part and it worked perfectly.
