1999 C230 K Wiper Problem
Hi All,
I have a strange problem with the Wipers on my 1999 C230k sport. The wipers suddenly stopped working and what happens now is that when i activate the wipers i hear a clicking sound coming from the from the fuse box in the engine compartment and the dash srs light dims and the cluster also dims. I replaced the fuse box including the K7 relay but the problem persists. if i disconnect the wiper motor connector plug from the fuse box then the problem goes away but obviously the wipers do not work. I am not sure if the problem lies with the wiper motor and not sure how to test it. Has anyone had such a problem before and please could you advise what the solution was if you did.
