Dash creak

The Benz's dash is creaking from around the windshield area, especially when it's cold out. Very annoying. My Alfa does this as well, but I know with it that the plastic on the dash is rubbing against the top of the metal firewall, creating the creak. The fix is to pull the dash back and line the edge of the firewall with a strip of felt or leather. Does anyone know if the same can be easily done with the Benz (or is it another problem altogether)? Does anyone else's have a creaky dash?

I dont have a creaky dash but a creaky center console and sunroof shade.

my c200 sport 96 plate does exactly the same!! only when its cold out!! no idea what it is?? but when i dont turn the heater on warm it does not do it!!

Just wait until your seats start to creak....Had mine replaced because the noise was driving me crazy when I sit or move around...Now the center console does it from time to time. I always have to press on it to make it stop.
