W202 C Class Rear Door Lock Actuator Repair/Replacement
Hi, I have a 1999 C200 W202.
It's failed it's MOT because the rear driver side door will open from the inside but not the outside.
I've taken off the door trim panel and sprayed the mechanism with WD40 and given it a good jiggle.
Sometimes it nearly opens using the outside handle - it ends up like when you lock the door and don't close it properly.
I figured the next step is to remove the mechanism and look for a broken spring or something.
I found a video for a W203, which seemed to be quite difficult and involve drilling rivets out.
It looks like the W202 is as simple as disconnecting the rods and removing the screws and dropping it out?
It looks like the yellow vacuum line could be tricky. The actuators on ebay have that simply cut..

Hi, were you able to remove the actuator? Where did you buy the actuator? My rear left door needs an actuator replacement too and I dont know where to source one and am looking for DIY procedures how to remove it from the panel
