HELP: broken cruise control lever

Don't ask me how it happened, I didn't do it, my friend probably thought it was the turn signal. Anyway, my cruise control lever is broken now. It's broken from the inside, real deep. I was able to remove the lever itself, it broke at where the electrical contacts are located. I reattached it with crazy glue and it did attach, however, it doesn't feel the same anymore, it's really lose, not springy anymore, it has no center.. and it doesn't engage anymore. I probably need a new one. Does anyone know how I can have it repaired myself? Fuse is fine... pls. help..

Also, does anyone knoe how I can have it disabled for now? Removing fuse #12 won't work because it's the same fuse for the brake lights... please help.

Buy a replacement cruise control lever (you can probably find one in a junk yard) and replace it. It requires removing the steering wheel (pretty easy with a hex 10mm and T27 bit).

Im not sure if they have things for the W202 but I replaced a cruise control arm on a 1986 190D from http://www.adsitco.com/ I would think they might be able to help.

depends what's broken

the module I don't know, but I'm really positive that the lever itself will fit, it's the same thing except the plastic where the prints are is smaller and "rounder"
